We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage following a collision near Tattershall Thorpe.
Our officers attended the B1192 just north of the village after a call to us at 4.26pm yesterday (29 October).
The collision involved two vehicles: a black Ford Focus car and a grey Kawasaki KLE650 motorbike.
Sadly, the rider of the motorbike, a man in his 30s from Grimsby, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford car, a 62-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving. He has since been released under investigation.
The road, which was closed following the collision, has now reopened and we continue to carry out enquiries.
